My History

After graduating from the Air Force Academy, my work within the U.S. Air Force and the defense consulting sector comprised of over 30 years of operational and acquisition experience in Aerospace and Command & Control. I also served as an AFROTC Detachment Commander, training the next generation of Airmen while instructing college-level academics across a variety of disciplines. My postgraduate education includes three Masters degrees in Engineering, Communications, and Secondary Education.

From 2014 to 2021, I worked as a high school teacher of AP Physics, Honors Physics, Programming, Astronomy, and GIS. For the last three years, I left my teaching responsibilities to be the sole caregiver for my wife, Carri. She went home to our Lord in August 2024. The last three years of caring for my wife were challenging, but they were also exceptional in daily serving her through normal activities throughout the day. I will always be grateful for the privilege of being at her side through this time, and the opportunity to think about and pray for God’s leading once He decided to take her home.  Although her homecoming with Jesus came quicker than expected, it did not take me long to decide upon applying my love of teaching and discipleship by serving in a Christian school overseas.

I am the father of three adult children, Jacob, Anna, and Ethan, who currently live in Northern Virginia.
